Hey World...Check ME Out!

The amazing GAMETAP service has picked my games for its Playlist of the Week!

It's basically a game version of the itunes celeb playlist, where I post little blurbs about my top 10 GAMETAP games...

Check it out and you will not only learn about the world's best video pinball game and what inspired the level design in God of War, but you can also discover what a smooth playa I was back in junior high!

Click me!

Thanks to Gametap and Gametap's Doug Perry for the very cool opportunity! Appreciate it, guys!

Later!

David

  1. David,

Thanks for contributing to this GT forum event! I've been following your blog for awhile now and when I heard you were providing a Playlist of the Week, I was very excited to see what you were going to pick. Your commentary was fun to read as always! =)

Having poked a little fun, congrats! I didn't even know they did something like that, I'll have to check it out.

Good calls on G n'G and shining in the darkness both rock.
Loved shining, my memory was bad enough to warrant drawing my own maps to track where I was going but not bad enough to forget the first time the Kaiser Crab scuttled out and pwned me.

  9. Hey David! This is Frank Cifaldi from GameTap. I had a weird sense of deja vu posting your playlist, since we did this a couple years ago.

(sorry for the double comment, the link was too long to post the first time)

Awesome playlist! I used to play Adventure at night, all the lights off, in my quiet room. The game was silent, and man - those dragons would freak me out. How something so simple could be so intense says something about the design.

Also, nice picks on Astrosmash, Bump 'n' Jump (Is "Burnin' Rubber" the name?), and Vanguard - had to love that 4-way firing.
