How Lucky I Am...

I sit here on a beautiful sunny day, the breeze floating in thru my open window, along with the sound of birds and the rustling of the willow branches just outside.

Music plays over a computer that allows me to do the work I love, and connects me to family, friends, and colleagues all over the world.

I have my health. My family has their health. As do our friends.

I am surrounded by the books, toys, games, and photographs that have made up 30 something years of my life. And while I know they are just things, it is still nice to have them around me.

And downstairs, I hear my two daughters laughing and yelling and playing pretend. They are happy and content and safe and loved.

I am blessed to have such joy in my life.

No matter how bad life may suck at times...it could always be worse.

    Enjoy life as it is.

"Life is what you make it"

You can live your life pissed off and depressed or you can live it joyful and full of happiness it's really up to yourself...

I always try to take the higher road and look at the good in the world even when at times when life never seem fair....

I hope some day I can be as happy as you.

All I want is to feel what you're feeling when you wrote this, being content in life.

All I want, is to stay with my girlfriend who's a thousand miles away, and get a job in the industry, that I can support myself on.

I feel happy for you =)

PS: I usually don't feel happy for anyone, i'm just jealous lol.

I think the dark side of Jaffe that gave birth to God of War has been destroyed by his role as father! Totally kidding, and I'm not even sure if you didn't have a kid back then. Good for you man, your life sounds rich with good experiences, which you are indeed blessed to have.

no fear said "In the real world there is no reset button and cheat codes don't work".

In otherwords, life doesn't give you a second chance at things. If you fail at something you have to accept that failure and try to move on, but alas, no matter what you do the pathways foward will end abruptly with death! It can be an unnerving thing to think about..

Personally..."luck" is a word we use to explain the good/bad situation God puts us through. If I were you, I'd thank God.

Hoping you are as happy for the rest of your life :)

  20. Man, that sounds sweet. I do love the summer days (warm, but not hot) when there is a breeze, and everything seems calm.
