NOTE: Rambling...AGAIN! Sorry guys- not a lot of time to think these days when I post as I do it in between downloading builds of the game..
SECOND NOTE: I post comments under da criminal...not JAFFE. Anyone posting as anything else claiming to be me is not really me. And to make sure it's me, click on my name and it should take you to this blog...so that way you will know it's really me.
i can understand what your taking about u really dont want the great depression but the closest that came from having one.i can only speak of the last 20 years and from what i have seen people have become more distance from what they use to be.i remember my block having a block party yearly when i was a kid and i also remembering welcoming new people who just moved into my block. well i think this is what u meant jaffe.
Yep thank you Barney Frank, Chris Dodd. Thank you Herb and Marion Sandler! Thank you Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton! Thank you ACORN! Thank you deadbeats who bought houses they could not afford! Thank you Franklin Raines (Obama's Sr. Economic Advisor former CEO of Fannie Mae)!
This subprime business started under the Carter admin and was expanded under Clinton.
Don't believe me look it up. This financial crisis has democrat fingerprints all over it.
It plays right into the feel good politics. Lets just give everyone houses because to have a house is a right in a socialist society.
Liberalism–looks good on paper but a death wish in reality.
I think anything looks good compared to the neo-cons of the last 8 years. And frankly, because of the harm they did to America, everything- including this crises- feels quaint.
I think the Republicans just need to deal with the fact that there are going to be repercussions- and not all good for ANY OF US- because the power is swinging to the left MAINLY because of how wimpy the Republicans were in standing up to Bush these last 8 years....I agree not everything the Democrats do is good and good for the country but it's the public's response to a horrific Republican administration that the party did NOTHING to curtail....As your fave pastor and mine is fond of saying: the chickens have come home to roost...
and I think that is GREAT! But there will be some shit because of it...
I have expressed a similar near desire for the possible coming of the "depression", but for a different reason. Man, it really is time for people to get their foot off the "gas". Most people can't afford the burden of their credit cards piled up with their underwater mortgage. Maybe this problem will make people quit driving their big f*ckin' SUV to the Mall for their weekend entertainment. Instead, playing with the kids, and getting closer to family/community as you suggest will become a forced norm.
Oh well, I should be concentrating on making games, not being a political pundit.
Wait a sec, wait a sec. THE Jeff Tunnell??! At my li'll ol blog?!? Hell man, such a fan. Creepnight Pinball?!!? One of the BEST fucking pinball games EVER not to mention all the other amazing games you've been involved with. Sir, it's an honor to have you here! Thanks for stopping by! :)
Yeah, that is me. I have a link to your blog in my blog at www.makeitbigingames.com
Cool that you remember an old game like Creepnight Pinball. I loved making games, but it was pretty much brought to an end by the greedy bastards at CUC International's biggest accounting scandal in history (until the current mess).
But it made me get off my ass and start another company, GarageGames. I had a lot of years not really making games while I was running GarageGames making technologies and markets so Indies make games. Sold out to IAC, Inc, and now I am back in the saddle.
"I think anything looks good compared to the neo-cons of the last 8 years. And frankly, because of the harm they did to America, everything- including this crises- feels quaint."
Did you even read what I said, republicans had little to do with these policies that lead to lending money to those who could not pay it back. 2005 John McCain wanted to regulate this. You are talking right from the pages of the Obama website when you insinuate John McCain is a neo-con. He hasn't been Bush's best friend, quite the opposite.
Here are a list of people to blame...
Barney Frank (I believe his Gay lover worked for Fannie Mae or Country Wide) Chris Dodd Franklin Raines (Obama's Sr. Economic Advisor, former CEO of Fannie Mae) Herb & Marion Sandler (Proud Moveon.Org supporters, even helpped prop up Air America, marketed Subprime loans then packaged them and sold them to Wachovia just before the chrisis they are the poster children for greed and they are democrat liberal left wing ideologs). Jimmy Carter Bill Clinton See these choice things you probably never heard of in your liberal vaccum... Bill Clinton's drive to increase homeownership went way too far http://www.businessweek.com/the_thread/hotproperty/archives/2008/02/clintons_drive.html The National Homeownership Strategy http://www.criterioneconomics.com/docs/20080226%20Market%20Commentary.pdf
So where do you get off hanging this on the Republicans, wasn't the democrats the took the majority in 2006? Remember Pelosia's promise to get shit done in the first 100 days. 100 days can and went and it was business as usual.
Now the republican ear marks did not help this situation, but we would have been fuct a few years ago if it was not for the Bush tax cuts.
"I think the Republicans just need to deal with the fact that there are going to be repercussions- and not all good for ANY OF US- because the power is swinging to the left"
You are correct, we will have strong repercussions. The left will tear this country apart. Look at how radical the people are that Obama aligns himself with. They will reshape this country into a Socialist Regime. Gone will be the republic we know. The left wing agenda is responsible for this -- let's give everyone homes mess. How do you not see this? Are you just blind or retarded? Have the twinkies went to your head?
"MAINLY because of how wimpy the Republicans were in standing up to Bush these last 8 years...."
Actually the republicans in congress had more to do with this mess then Bush, they went crazy with earmarks, which doesn't lend itself to fiscal responsibility. But Bush is out come January. Who are you going to blame then?
"I agree not everything the Democrats do is good and good for the country"
So far David, you have yet to express one political opinion that is contrary to the liberal agenda. You are a democrat lock stock and barrel. It's not in how you think, it's in how you feel, and that is why liberal policies fail time and time again. You aren't concerned with results just the compassionate reason for doing something. The whole reason we are in this mess is because liberal policy makers wanted to give houses to people who couldn't afford them. The idea sounds great on paper, lets give these people a leg up! YAY, I am all for that, but not at the expense of our financial security. YOUR PARTY TOOK A GAMBLE WITH OUR FINANCIAL SECURITY AND WE ARE ALL NOW PAYING! Now Obama has a good chance at winning and the policies he wants to enact will only deepen our fiscal woes.
You own a small business and the plans Obama speaks of could potentially wipe you off the map. Especially if you are an S-Corp.
"but it's the public's response to a horrific Republican administration that the party did NOTHING to curtail....As your fave pastor and mine is fond of saying: the chickens have come home to roost..."
Did nothing to curtail? There were calls to regulate this. By McCain and the administration. The executive branch does not create law, congress was not willing to make any moves on it. Furthermore a few weeks before everything went tits up, Barney Frank was on record saying Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac were fine. This gave all the investors in the know, a chance to get out while they still had money.
"and I think that is GREAT! But there will be some shit because of it..."
See that is the difference between me and you. You are enjoying the possible downfall of one of the greatest free markets on this earth. Why would you think this is great AT ALL? You are sick man. Truly sick. Are you ex-KGB or something?
One step closer to never buying a game from you again Jaffe, I am just glad God Of War 3 is in hands of people that don't take advantage of their blog audience by force feeding political views.
I was not saying the neo-cons are responsible for the financial crisis. I am saying that the neo-cons have done so much damage to this country and to this country's image and reputation thru the world that the financial crisis looks quant in comparison to what Bush, Cheney, and the boyz have done over the last 8 years.
If the folks in power would put more money into public educations versus their precious ' WAR! WAR! DRILL! WAR!!! MONEY! MONEY! GRRR!!!!' mentality then perhaps you would have the reading comprehension skills to understand what I am writing.
I am NOT saying the Democrats did not have a large hand in this financial mess. I think they did. Not sure if it's ALL on them given that the Republicans have had alot of power in Senate and Congress up till 2006 and even past then they had enough folks in power the last two years to keep most of the Democratic proposed laws from going thru. But I appreciate you spewing the Republican talking points from Mr. Hannity or Rush or whomever you choose to believe 100%. Clearly those folks have no agenda.
And look, difference between you and me is, I KNOW the democrats are not perfect. I KNOW if I listen to MSNBC or go to huffpost I'm gonna get a left leaning version of the truth.
Anyone who wants to blame ONE party for this is nuts man. Just nuts. In the same way that I think the Democrats were spineless for not standing up to Bush these last 8 years.
And you know what? FUCK the free market if it comes at the expense of being good and just and kind to people. I put people ahead of profits every single fucking time, sir. And if that makes me ex-KGB, then so be it. It's 2008 man. Calling someone a commie no longer has the insulting ring it once did. I am not saying I am anti capitalist but there ARE tenants of socialism that I support and would like to see America take on...I don't take that as an insult, I take that as a character trait. I like people. I want to see us all do well and all be safe.
I find movie's a terrible thing to imagine the world/past thru. Because they live on the notion of, that if there's still life, there's hope. I guess that you trying to explain your train of thought but anyways, I as a socialist (not what McCarthy, have told you =P. So no, I'm not a commie in the old Stalin, trotsky way. More of a mixed economics, leaning more to the left) blame the freedom the so called speakers of the "people" have given the companies. But that's irrelevant, mostly because im to stupid to discuss and to remember all of my arguments, to do real socialism justice.
A question, where there republicans that objected george bush precidency (more than usual) the first time? Or is it, why so many republicans havent spoken up against bush. Is because he is so much like a pure republican, that they know/feel that if they did that, it would confuse their voters. (and the self lying and shit(that's all around the political spectrum left and right, because we have made a wrong system to search for people in politics. But that's also irrelevant *slaps myself on face*)talking)
Apart from the pollitical side of things I think I get you pretty well.
I remember a few years ago (forget which specific year it was) when the power went out across the US and Canada. It was brilliant! The highlights from those days/nights;
-Actually SEEING others help each other physically and emotionally -Standard pedestrians directing traffic and people actually listening to them! -stars... wow could you ever see the sky or what!
It was amazing how people came together. I realize it could have been worse but it had an air of excitement to it.
I kinda get what your saying about there seeming to be a closeness in shitty times that isn't there otherwise. Kinda like right after 9/11 but I think still think your batshit insane...no offense :) Nowadays people dont have that nice 30's attitude...people are "me first" assholes for the most part and I can't imagine the crime and all around misery that would cause now. I don't think this one would be as "nice" as the last. Anyway damn...can I be a long distance play tester Cliffy? :)
And just a reminder to those that use the "It's the state that gave fanny mea/bernie mac (or whatever the banks are called) free reigns so they could loan to people without insurance" do you know that companies that did NOT have any pressure to do this. DID AGREE TO MORE LOANS (to people with being less security to pay their debt) THAN ANY OF THESE COMPANIES. This can probably be wrong, best for somebody else to look this up.
Way off topic here but i'm just wondering if you caught Southpark last night with the Indiana Jones bit?Pretty good stuff, here's link of it if you didn't http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQvfmOik1ww
Dow is below 9000, is it time to break out the Champagne yet, David?
Everything the Bush admin has done has been legal. The democrat controlled congress got on board with Wiretaps. Most of the issues we have heard about abroad led to court proceedings that acquitted the vast majority of "wrong-doers".
Dude Democrats have had the majority since 2006. There is not much resistance from republicans since then. Bush has hardly lifted the veto pen.
Again you just reading out of the democrat playbook.
You are the king of getting off the subject when you are loosing a debate.
Education? Where do I get started. We spend more money per student on education then the majority of the western world. I believe in NJ it's as high as $10,000 per student. I believe school vouchers are the way to go here. We need competition in education as the government was never designed to be a provider of education. At least not in a republic. We spend money hand over foot on education. If the PEOPLE (we the people that is) had the freedom of choice our education system would not be so bad.
This war has help insure no new attacks on the USA, so I consider that a success. Benchmarks have not been met in Iraq, but war funding is good for the economy overall.
We still need to drill. Bush lifted the executive order and price of a barrel of oil went down by $20+. Just from an announcement. Imagine how much the prices will tumble when we actually Drill.
I am not trying to say my party is perfect, but my party was not the one that tried to systematically destroy our free market economy via a shared agenda. Your party wants us to be socialist. I don't want to be socialist. I want to live in a society with other responsible citizens that don't have their hand out at the government whining about every little thing that effects their lives. That isn't the country the founding fathers envisioned. With Obama we are dangerously close to socialism.
I am not nuts, you are nuts for not looking at the facts. Look at all those names. Check into them, they are ALL democrats and they spearheaded these lack policies for lending that put us in this mess. That isn't nuts that is called sound research, obviously something you don't do!
Of course your feelings don't even match up.
On one hand you feel republicans are just some greedy SOBs who want to make wars and neglect domestic policy.
On the other hand you feel they had a role in the compassionate policies to help lesser means people get into homes they could not afford.
Which is it Dave?
The proof is in the pudding. Have a look into it instead of waving your ignorance like a sword!
Anon- I will be doing a live video chat soon- please come by and we can discuss this there.
There are things you have written that- to me- contradict themselves but I don't have the time right now to go thru one by one...but I think on some specifics you are wrong and I am just too busy to go into it. But it IS a discussion I would like to have. Make sure you come to the live video chat and remind me of your post and we can discuss it in semi-real time.
The other fundamental issue tho- beyond facts- is that YES, you and I are simply different and value different things. Is there a right and wrong? perhaps...and if there is, I choose my way versus yours. But the reality is- for whatever reason- I think so much of what the far right wing stands for these days is simply shit, cruel, and horrific. The fact that you are OK with the fact that war (i.e. killing people) is GOOD for the economy alone is enough to make it clear to me that you and I would never get along and could probably not even share a cab.
Come by live chat and we can debate- I do enjoy that.
I can't wait for Obama to win. @Anon, Franklin Raines doesn't advise Obama. You should look into Rick Davis, the Homeownership Alliance and John McCain, oh wait Fox News doesn't cover those talking points cus they are "Fair and Balanced". I love how everyone is an ex-KGB if they don't blindly follow the talking points of Fix news. And El Oh El at not buying a game cus you don't share the same views with someone. It's just sad and just shows how pathetic you really are.
Anon, I thought we were having a discussion/debate...now I see you are simply and asshole. Yes, please do not show up because clearly you can not be counted on to have a real open discussion (wherein if you prove to be right, I will change certain thoughts I have...I've done that many times before when someone explains something to me in a way that opens my eyes)...
but yeah, now I get it. Paper fucking tiger. Total wimp. Gotcha. Yup Yup! You Betcha! Stupid drone. Go back to sucking on Hannity's dick. We're done.
@nokage South Park was fantastic last night. You shouldn't watch comedy central shows on Youtube since Viacom is in a copyright lawsuit against Google/Youtube. Just go here >> www.southparkstudios.com It's called a China Probrem.
As a financial advisor, I can share that the economy has little to do with politics and lots to do with you and your wallet. Bush didn't damn us and Clinton certainly wasn't responsible for prospering us.
The reason where we are today is because of greed. Every client I worked with moved there money out of stocks after Sept 11th, because the market was crashing. Where did almost ALL of them go? Real estate, because real estate is "safe" and you "can't" lose money in real estate. You can thank those people for the housing crash.
@ David (the real da criminal) the Icons next to the name are clearly different. Your's has the Blogger symbol the fake's is a default. That should help differentiating the names.
"The reason where we are today is because of greed. Every client I worked with moved there money out of stocks after Sept 11th, because the market was crashing. Where did almost ALL of them go? Subprime lending caused this. The housing bust didn't help, but giving money away to people who can't pay it back is not a plan for prosperity.
I categorically disagree with you, policy had everything to do with this. Very poor not well thought out policy.
What did you think would happen if you let people borrow money without any proof of ability to pay it back? Of course greed will kick in. The policy did nothing to make sure people would not exploit it.
This is why we have a credit rating system, to see who will pay back and who won't. This system was completely subjugated with subprime loans.
Subprime didn't help you are right. Those people shouldn't have gotten loans, rather, they should not have put themselves in that situation. You are told what the monthly payment is before signing. Fraud (where you are actually misled) is a very small percentage (although higher than it should be).
Either way, I shouldn't claim one thing caused this mess...there isn't one thing and lots of hands were in the pot.
(I havent read them myself ,(mostly because i suck at english) but i think if a person take their time and read them true. They will get what I read in the swedish explanation)
Anon, you're a fucking asshole. Why do you come to his blog? Yes, you can voice your opinion, but no need to be a dick about anything. You're an attention-seeking pussy. Now go spray some cheese in Clinton's cunt.
Dave, you really need to get a moderation system going.

I used to do morgages, you have Debt to Income ratio, it plays a role in whether or not to get a loan, this means of qualification was largely ignored with subprime. That was the way the policy was crafted.

I come to this blog in the hopes to find some news about Dave's games. Some how we are political polar opposites, but I have enjoyed most of his games.
This blog hasn't really posted shit in reference to gaming lately.
I feel compelled to give my perspective and it's my right to do so. I am sorry if I get passionate and exhibit confidence in my views.
I am not trying to piss anyone off or be provactive, I am just sick of anyone with any degree of celebrity status force feeding their political agenda to their audiences. Sure it's 100% legal to do so, there is no law against it. I just don't think Jaffe has any real background qualifications to make the remarks he does about politics. I don't think I do either, that's why I am only a commenter on his political posts, I don't have my own blog.
Of course having experience or real qualifications must be a thing of the past. If it's good enough for the President to be a political neophyte I guess it's good enough for Dave.
Oh and tmforeverTMA, DON'T tell me what to do. :) Your not my mother.
To this thread's main "anonymous" poster: you are a pussy. Use your real name or a link to your homepage. So easy to say outrageous things by hiding under your anonymity.
To David (and everyone else): I think the exciting thing about a possible depression is that it strips back a lot of the abstractions in our society and reveals more clearly the Maslov needs that are closer to the core of existence/reality. And, after all, whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
thre is a flaw in his post you can post under you user name but you cant get away with it since the B is a give away only you have that Jaffe.
Hay Jaffe have you seen the movie The Machine Girl? i had mad a character like in a fan fic of twisted metal long before the movie was made, have you ever had an idea a losse sometime down the road?
Hey david, ( added you on facebook but u didnt accept) not like u had too but can all of u above stop being a fucken disaster on someones website? like good GOD, this man is letting u talk to him u should treat him with some fucken respect concidering he brought the most entertaining franchizes in the fucken world to your ps2. God...
Ah. As for "virtual studios," I suppose as technology advances, ISP bandwidth and download speeds increase, you will definitely be seeing a lot more of this. As technology becomes better and more reliable, it just becomes easier and easier to be able to work with a team over the internet without a central hub for everyone to meet at. High quality video conferencing, high speed downloads for documents, graphical content, game builds... Pretty cool to think about.
BTW, Send me the link to the latest build of the game. I would like to partake in the testing. :) I promise I'll keep all the information on the down-lo. Haha.
Oh, and Cliffy. I'm pretty sure that they can't have the name "da criminal" as well as a blogger logo "B" next to their name... Because they're using an unregistered name, where as you are using your registered name.
Interesting Idea.. Its kinda like when a country goes to war for the sake of defending itself and the populace mainly agrees, like with WW1 and WW2. I read about this in a book before called "Savage God", which talks about suicide and all its different aspects (really good read, I highly recommend it), and it said that the suicide rate goes drastically down during war, which makes a lot of sense. When people are enduring the same problems, their empathetic and feel united in their similar effort to rise above the problems, that's the way I view at least.
I was talking to my wife about this economic crisis the other day, and I think the revelation we came up to was this--things have to get really bad before they get really good. That's just the way it goes with human nature. I think at the core of it all, 80% of the population would be very, very satisfied making $100K a year (those not living in LA, NYC, etc.) That'd be enough to buy a substantial house, have the car, support your children, take the yearly vacation, and have enough to save for retirement. If everyone still had that, there wouldn't be too much of a declaration for change--change could ruin your slice of the pie! Think about it--if gas was still $2.50 a gallon, would people be demanding alternative energy pursuits? If a grand percentage of people weren't fraudulently given house mortgages that they KNEW would fail, would this percentage of people be so involved in politics? NO! They'd say, "Ehhh, that's just the way things are..." and be complacent. So I think the most important positive thing that's come out of this last eight years (the ONLY thing, mind you..) is that we've all had to open our eyes to how fragile this entire system is. When it's running right, you hardly notice. When it's running wrong, it turns your life upside down.
HEY JAFFE, WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ON SONY'S STUPIDITY, AND THEIR RETARDED WAYS OF KEEPING EXCLUESIVE GAMES......BY GIVING THEM AWAY
I SUGGEST YOU MAKE YOUR GAME FOR 360, PS3 WILL DIE OUT AND SONY WILL BHE BACK TO MAKING RADIOS, WHAT DO YOU THING OF TEKKEN 6 GOING OVER TO THE 3FIXME?
Hah u gotta be fukin kidding me you living cock sucking breeder...Sony is sort of in a mess, you guys actually think resistance 2 is gonna be better then gears of war 2? LAUGH OUT FUKIN LOUD, and as for killzone 2? this is gonna be fun while all of u sony fanflys or fangirls if you will, will be making horrible excuses ( you 2 David Jaffe )as to why it reviewed terribly. plz post back to these issues jaff attack haha.
Fun? my family is back finacially, to where they were in 1997. just stfu jaffe and show some concern and respect about ur vision of fun when people are gonna go poor. k?
I think half of these posts about the government are down right crazy. The Democrats did not cause this finical crisis, Democrats believe in regulation, some of you guys need to really study your history.
i agree with the depression maybe being fun thing completely. for instance, i have a STRONG interest in zombies/reanimation, etc. and for some reason, i always imagine myself in a zombie apocalypse situation, doing anything just to survive, etc, and enjoying it on some level. And as fanboy as it is, i definitely have to say i've always kind of wished for a real twisted metal too despite the obvious downside of people dying etc.
I am dressing my jeep up as a twisted metal car on halloween :D

First off, I don't think you read what I wrote.
ReplyDeleteI was not saying the neo-cons are responsible for the financial crisis.
David
I find movie's a terrible thing to imagine the world/past thru. Because they live on the notion of, that if there's still life, there's hope. I guess that you trying to explain your train of thought but anyways, I as a socialist (not what McCarthy, have told you =P. So no, I'm not a commie in the old Stalin, trotsky way. More of a mixed economics, leaning more to the left) blame the freedom the so called speakers of the "people" have given the companies. But that's irrelevant, mostly because im to stupid to discuss and to remember all of my arguments, to do real socialism justice.
ReplyDeleteA question, where there republicans that objected george bush precidency (more than usual) the first time? Or is it, why so many republicans havent spoken up against bush. Is because he is so much like a pure republican, that they know/feel that if they did that, it would confuse their voters. (and the self lying and shit(that's all around the political spectrum left and right, because we have made a wrong system to search for people in politics. But that's also irrelevant *slaps myself on face*)talking)
sorry for bad grammar, english and stuff.
Apart from the pollitical side of things I think I get you pretty well.
ReplyDeleteI remember a few years ago (forget which specific year it was) when the power went out across the US and Canada. It was brilliant! The highlights from those days/nights;
-Actually SEEING others help each other physically and emotionally
-Standard pedestrians directing traffic and people actually listening to them!
-stars... wow could you ever see the sky or what!
It was amazing how people came together. I realize it could have been worse but it had an air of excitement to it.
It was for a lack of a better word, fun. *shrug*
Doh! my comment needed a 100% increase of =P smilies
ReplyDeleteI kinda get what your saying about there seeming to be a closeness in shitty times that isn't there otherwise. Kinda like right after 9/11 but I think still think your batshit insane...no offense :) Nowadays people dont have that nice 30's attitude...people are "me first" assholes for the most part and I can't imagine the crime and all around misery that would cause now. I don't think this one would be as "nice" as the last.
ReplyDeleteAnyway damn...can I be a long distance play tester Cliffy?

ReplyDeleteDow is below 9000, is it time to break out the Champagne yet, David?
ReplyDeleteEverything the Bush admin has done has been legal.
Be sure you change the subject again. :) It's a sign I am doing well with my arguments.
ReplyDeleteAnon- I will be doing a live video chat soon- please come by and we can discuss this there.
ReplyDeleteThere are things you have written that- to me- contradict themselves but I don't have the time right now to go thru one by one...but I think on some specifics you are wrong and I am just too busy to go into it.
David
Honestly I don't know if I could stomach looking at your face for that amount of time.
ReplyDeleteWhat am I wrong about?
The Twinkies? You right, you seem like more ofa Ho-Ho and Big Mac guy.
I can't wait for Obama to win. @Anon, Franklin Raines doesn't advise Obama. You should look into Rick Davis, the Homeownership Alliance and John McCain, oh wait Fox News doesn't cover those talking points cus they are "Fair and Balanced".
ReplyDeleteI love how everyone is an ex-KGB if they don't blindly follow the talking points of Fix news.
And El Oh El at not buying a game cus you don't share the same views with someone. It's just sad and just shows how pathetic you really are.
Anon, I thought we were having a discussion/debate...now I see you are simply
ReplyDeleteand asshole.
We're done.
David
@nokage South Park was fantastic last night.
ReplyDeleteYou shouldn't watch comedy central shows on Youtube since Viacom is in a copyright lawsuit against Google/Youtube. Just go here >> www.southparkstudios.com It's called a China Probrem.
hey, check it out, i can post as da criminal too!
ReplyDeletelooks like you need a better system. i'm in the mainframe. noting is safe anymore!
ReplyDeleteExcuse me while not a Sr. Advisor, he did play a role in advising Obama. The NYTimes left wing rag reported Obama receiving advice from Raines.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/09/how_close_are_raines_and_obama.html
Fuck it, you CAN post as DA CRIMINAL- that sucks!
ReplyDeleteAh well, honor system.
And you guys know if it's me by now...if I say something out of character, it's not me.
As a financial advisor, I can share that the economy has little to do with politics and lots to do with you and your wallet. Bush didn't damn us and Clinton certainly wasn't responsible for prospering us.
ReplyDeleteThe reason where we are today is because of greed. Every client I worked with moved there money out of stocks after Sept 11th, because the market was crashing. Where did almost ALL of them go? Real estate, because real estate is "safe" and you "can't" lose money in real estate. You can thank those people for the housing crash.
Sorry second Anon but Jack Kelly is clearly partisan. Just look at the articles he writes.
ReplyDeleteCNN fact check
Factcheck.org There are more. But yeah Raines doesn't advise Obama.
@ David (the real da criminal) the Icons next to the name are clearly different. Your's has the Blogger symbol the fake's is a default. That should help differentiating the names.
ReplyDelete"The reason where we are today is because of greed. Every client I worked with moved there money out of stocks after Sept 11th, because the market was crashing. ReplyDeleteSubprime lending caused this.
ReplyDeleteEither way, I shouldn't claim one thing caused this mess...there isn't one thing and lots of hands were in the pot.

Anon, you're a fucking asshole. Why do you come to his blog? Yes, you can voice your opinion, but no need to be a dick about anything. You're an attention-seeking pussy. Now go spray some cheese in Clinton's cunt.
ReplyDeleteDave, you really need to get a moderation system going.

ReplyDeleteTo David (and everyone else):
I think the exciting thing about a possible depression is that it strips back a lot of the abstractions in our society and reveals more clearly the Maslov needs that are closer to the core of existence/reality. And, after all, whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
I can see where you're coming from on the depression issue... hopefully it doesn't kill my folks on heating oil this winter though. That would blow.
ReplyDeleteDave, you see my posting on the TM movie a few days back?
thre is a flaw in his post you can post under you user name but you cant get away with it since the B is a give away only you have that Jaffe.
ReplyDeleteHay Jaffe have you seen the movie The Machine Girl? i had mad a character like in a fan fic of twisted metal long before the movie was made, have you ever had an idea a losse sometime down the road?
Hey david, ( added you on facebook but u didnt accept) not like u had too but can all of u above stop being a fucken disaster on someones website? like good GOD, this man is letting u talk to him u should treat him with some fucken respect concidering he brought the most entertaining franchizes in the fucken world to your ps2. God...
ReplyDeleteCliffy: You are, in fact, crazy.
ReplyDeleteAh.
I promise I'll keep all the information on the down-lo. Haha.
Keep it real. (And send me the build.)

ReplyDeleteOh, and Cliffy. I'm pretty sure that they can't have the name "da criminal" as well as a blogger logo "B" next to their name... Because they're using an unregistered name, where as you are using your registered name.
ReplyDeleteOr am I mistaken?
Interesting Idea.. Its kinda like when a country goes to war for the sake of defending itself and the populace mainly agrees, like with WW1 and WW2. I read about this in a book before called "Savage God", which talks about suicide and all its different aspects (really good read, I highly recommend it), and it said that the suicide rate goes drastically down during war, which makes a lot of sense. When people are enduring the same problems, their empathetic and feel united in their similar effort to rise above the problems, that's the way I view at least.
ReplyDeleteA. I agree with the nostalgia-feel thing. It's like "It's A Wonderful Life." Movie gets me everytime...
ReplyDeleteB. Can you incorporate Trophies into commenting on your blog posts? That'd be awesome!
(B was a joke, but A was not)
I was talking to my wife about this economic crisis the other day, and I think the revelation we came up to was this--things have to get really bad before they get really good.
ReplyDeleteSo I think the most important positive thing that's come out of this last eight years (the ONLY thing, mind you..) is that we've all had to open our eyes to how fragile this entire system is.
ReplyDeleteI SUGGEST YOU MAKE YOUR GAME FOR 360, PS3 WILL DIE OUT AND SONY WILL BHE BACK TO MAKING RADIOS, WHAT DO YOU THING OF TEKKEN 6 GOING OVER TO THE 3FIXME?
SONY ARE SHIT, TELL THAT JAP THAT PLEASE
Sony still has plenty of exclusives.
ReplyDeleteThey have a large pool of developers working for them, more so then MS or Nintendo.
Lot's of IPs have not even been touched this round by Sony.
Hah u gotta be fukin kidding me you living cock sucking breeder...Sony is sort of in a mess, you guys actually think resistance 2 is gonna be better then gears of war 2? ReplyDeleteI think half of these posts about the government are down right crazy.

ReplyDeleteI am dressing my jeep up as a twisted metal car on halloween :D
