Brief Hiatus

Hey all- sorry for the lack of posts this week. Been swamped getting ready for our big dog and pony (as well as focus tests) next week in San Fran and Los Angeles.

I will be back to regular posting next week or the start of the next. So check back then for new updates.

Have a great weekend- take care- see ya soon!

Thanks for understanding! We are just crazy swamped!

David

UPDATE: A brief interview I did with the ACADEMY OF INTERACTIVE ARTS AND SCIENCES just went up. Thanks to commenter GUY for pointing this out!

Yea, good luck with your game. When are you gonna show what you've been working on?

Also, are you still gonna get your dad on the blog?

Looking forward to hearing more from you, have a good weekend.

  9. Good luck to you and your team, Dave.
Also, great interview. I really enjoyed that one.

I agree with what you said regarding people getting worked up over game engines and not creativity or art design/direction.

I'm looking forward to whatever it is you guys are working on.

  19. I couldn't agree more in the interview where he says"I hate the constant engine creation that goes on in the business. I would like us to only compete via our creative skills. It’s a pain-in-the-ass knowing that we could have the coolest ideas in the world and they could get sabotaged because our engine is not up to snuff." That is a huge and unfortunate hurdle. When critics or gamers complain about bad games, I think a good percentage of the time this is a major factor.
