That was a really good post, I love those video blogs because I feel like were hearing what you have to say without some PR guy standing beside you. Not like it really makes a difference XD, have fun at the wedding, oh and How about my interview?

Hey David. It is nice to see that you are feeling better. Kids have that effect on parents. I hope the decision your juggling doesn't have to do with multiplayer aspects. Not that we know what the game is ofcourse. I just know from my stand point that online multiplayer might be cool and all but some of us enjoy single player or split screen more. Just my two cents. Hey if you are offering out interviews....

it might be a curious experiment in the future to share a design problem with the audience/fans after the game is announced (besides the legal stuff). it could be a really eye-opening experience, and as designers, we certainly should never think of ourselves as the smartest kids in the room, you know?

all of the secrecy in game development is of course needed, but there is something about it that does feel very 1998 these days. everything these days seems to be about access and sharing...why not embrace it and try something different?

yeah, yeah, company secrets etc. blah blah blah...i'm just saying...

Sometimes I enjoy a game when it is willing to break a game's design for the overall picture. I'm a student and the independent game I'm working on has a moment like yours and I totally would love to see you do it.

Youtube seems to work fine. I'd like more video blogs again because I feel you talk more about designing in the videos than in the normal text blogs.

David are you going to have any internships open at EatSleepPlay? It would be awesome to work with you.

Did you know that you can go up to 10 Minutes on youtube? because it seemed like you rushed at the end.

This is an old video and you probably don't read these older video's comments anymore, but if you do:

In this video, you are talking about choosing a specific design to use in this game, and you're stuck between choosing two different designs. Once this game is released, I'd love to hear about the two ideas you had, and which you chose. It'd be a really cool thing to learn about, especially after playing the game.
