I know what's cliffys new game is!!!!!
Its so obvious he doesn't confirm TM because that not the game they are working on. If you look at Vblog where he show us a sneak preview. That looks like a sky scrapers to me. Anyways the game I believe they are working on is "war of monsters 2". The first one was a blast to play. A sequel for this game is also due.

We are NOT working on WAR OF THE MONSTERS...I CAN tell you that, I think...That could be fun tho...real issue is, the first one was great but didn't really sell that well...It has its fans and I am sure the team who made it (I did not work on it beyond concept phase) are very thrilled about how great it came out....but I just don't think the love for 'man in a suit' really trickles that far into the gaming fanbase, sadly.

How sad I really loved that game:(
But thank for answering.

Take care Cliffy!

It allways feels good to be on the winning team!!

I think this election is Obama's to lose... I just don't see McCain coming out ontop?! My only concern is the electoral college...

So David, what did you think of the South Park episode with Lucas/Spielberg raping Indy?

I'm just glad people are starting to get out of the "Crystal Skull" vibe by watching this mess on DVD and realise that an Indy movie is more than a whip and a theme song.

Bring on the originals on Blu-ray I say!

Hey Dave,

if you get a chance, check this site out http://www.viddler.com

its kinda like youtube, but they don't force you to cram everything into 10 mins, the only requirement is that the file is under 500mb...they even have a section that connects directly into your webcam and make it easy to edit/record.

Also, (i may get flamed for this) but are you going to get Vigilante 8 for the xbox 360 when it comes out on Nov 5th? ya know the brother from another mother car combat game set in the midwest?

Well thats it for now haha..Go Phillies, Go Obama and go Viddler.com

I have War of the Monsters! That game is damn fun :) I love how there is a Sweet Tooth bot included... Damn, I want to go play that. And I was just settling down for an evening of Rock Band 2.

Anyway, Cliffy, I'm really excited about the new game even if it doesn't turn out to be Twisted Metal... Although of course, I hope it is as you should know by now :p

I know you can't really say, both because you yourself do not know for sure, and also because you can't spill the beans early on anything, including the announcement date, but when do you hope to announce this game? Early '09? Late '09? From the way you guys are crackin' down on this thing, I'd hope to see an announcement in the semi-near future... Like Q1? :) Or am I being too hopeful :P

Ha. Take it easy man.

video wasn't playing so well...got it to work, but youtube's been fuckin up for me the last few minutes. anyway, uncharted was great. I haven't heard anything about a sequel? I'll have to go look it up. I can see why you liked it so much, being an indy freak and all. the only thing that bothered me with it was for how good the game looked, the cutscenes were still pre-rendered.

I personally can't stand the shooting parts of Uncharted, but I'm glad that you're enjoying that game. :)

Polls don't mean crapola. It's based off the opinions of 3000 people in a country of 300+ Million, and that's with people that only have LANDLINES, so in actuality you're getting the opinions of .0009% of the population that are technologically behind.

Uncharted is probably my best gaming experience on a console ever. I spent the week between xmas and new years last year playing it, great times. I can't wait for the next one either, I wish it was this xmas :)

Speaking of user created levels, have you seen some of the footage for Far Cry 2's map editor? Dear god, talk about overwhelming! You can terraform, add rivers and plantation, all sorts of stuff. It peaked my interest in the Far Cry series but unfortunately, I KNOW I am going to be busy with Gears 2 and probably Dead Space (looks like it's bringing back survival horror to the mainstream again :D)

(You can check out the map editor video by clicking my name.)

War of the Monsters was awesome. Hope another one gets made in the future.

war of the monsters was an amazing game and it is a fucking CRIME that a sequel will probably never happen.

can u imagine having huge next-gen(current-gen?) high definition monsters destroying huge open levels like new york or LA or whatever. awesome.

good luck jaffe on your game can't fucking wait to see it. (please be twisted metal. please be twisted metal.) DARK GUNZ!!!!!1

World of color is a great LBP level, and the hoverboard ones are cool!

Hey Cliffy, What do you think about the Koran controversy that has delayed LittleBigPlanet? For me, I'm mad about it, because I think it's ridiculous that a game about being creative is taking some of its own creativity out, but at the same time, I don't mind waiting another week. There's too many good games out now and coming out now anyway; even on the 21st, when LBP was going to come out, there's still Fable 2, Far Cry 2, the new Spiderman game, Bioshock on the PS3, Eternal Sonata on the PS3, and the new Castlevania DS game! And there's even more the rest of the week: Rock Band 2 on the PS3, Dead Space on the PS3, and Wii Music on the Wii, of course.

Yet, by the time you post your next video, LBP might be out, and all will be forgiven!

hey, great video. i understand your perspective, but don't say NEVER.

who knows, you might feel inspired one day, right?

i didn't like all the gunfights in uncharted. i guess i just am not coordinated enough with analog stick-aiming.

war of the monsters was a cool game, but ya, i actually am kinda glad thats not the sequel you are working on. maybe one day though... next-generation or something.

as far as vigilante 8, as someone mentioned... that game was fun, but the physics were almost too accurate to be as fun as twisted metal was. i liked how you could steer your car in mid-air in twisted metal!

Yeah, Uncharted is one of my favourite games ever.
The characters and the story development are superb.
And technology is unmatched.
