Dear Mother Fucking Gaming Sites:

Please for the love all all things Holy...stop posting these OLD, OUTDATED pictures of me (that are also crazy shitty pictures of me from almost 5 years ago) when you run a story on me. There are plenty of newer pics you could use to be more- you know- accurate.

Am I being paranoid or do you think they do this just to make me look fucking stupid?

David

I think they do that with many of the people behind the scenes of games, for comic relief, like they do with imperial hot (wada) on kotaku, every single time they post about him.
That said I'm not sure how pics of you from the past are comedic, but then again I didn't get the thing that joystiq did the other day with putting the lady's face in every pic in every article for 24 hours.

I am not saying they are comedic, they are just:

a- very outdated so one would assume if these are grown ups writing about news in the biz they cover, they'd use a recent pic...

b- shitty pics...which is more of an ego problem for me than a real issue that anyone BUT me should care about...

You should be glad your pictures are only that bad. Kojima has it worse.

And there are plenty more.

I have seen that pic recently on a few news stories.
Throw up some old grainy photos of you at like 8...if they are going to use something outdated see how far they will go. ;)

Maybe they will get the idea...eventually

lol they do it because they are trying to make you into someone they can hate/attack.

Haters for no reason.

Maybe you should post a pic that you want everyone to use ? haha

You should see the pics they use for Steve Ballmer, like - http://strategerie.files.wordpress.com/2009/06/steve-ballmer1.jpg

It's funny because just before clicking on a N4G news about your new game there was that "famous" picture of you and I thought exactly what you wrote in the article.

To solve this "problem" you have two chances, the first is to take a picture of yourself even worse than any existing today on the internet (this solution will work). Believe me, pseudo-gaming-journalists seem to have some fetish for mans looking bad.
The second solution is the oposite, just go to a professional photographer an take a decent picture (read Peter Molineux and Sony Computer Entertainent bosses), if you don't want all that troube just send me a half-decent picture, I'm a professional photographer glued to Photoshop 10h a day, I can make you look so handsome that some straight mans may change their sexual orientation.

Over'n out.

PS: Sorry the bad English, being from Portugal don't help much.

Yeah I read an article recently that had your update from twitter that you were editing your game in San Diego. The picture attached was you in a snowstorm.... People left comments who actually thought it was snowing in San Diego.
