Hey all- need a big break from blogging. Who knows- as always- I may come back to it but right now feels like a great time to stop.
To all of you regular readers who have gone with me on this journey over the years...we're just getting started! Soon our website for EAT SLEEP PLAY will be up and blazing and you'll be able to find me there on company blogs and the EAT SLEEP PLAY forums.
Until then- have a great start of the summer movie season and I'll chat with you all soon!

Jeez Dave, do you really have to stop blogging for awhile? I love seeing what you're up to. Whether it be an interesting website, story, ride, or game, it's usually something that brings a smile to my face. Plus you've put me on to comics online and some pretty cool books and movies. I hope this isn't permanent. Heck, you could not talk about games and I'd still visit your blog. Good luck on your game. I hope you and Eat Sleep Play make an appearance at E3 during Sony's press conference.

Hah. I dunno. This sounds a bit more...final than the typical: gonna take a two/three week hiatus, oh wait its been three days but I'm back!

Glad it wasn't about those pictures, though I'm sure you'd have put up a hell of a video cursing about it if it had been.
Going to miss your video blogs. Can't think of any other developer who will take a call in the middle of recording to tell the person that they're interrupting and then leave it in when they put the video up.
Hope we'll see more of those on ESP, or maybe as Easter Eggs in an upcoming game?

Hey whats up Dave? never really posted here, but I watch your shit. cool thing I always liked is your point of view and blunt attitude. I don't think you should quit bloggin unless you are just bored sick of it because i think you give a lot of insight and honest (which is rare) opinions not only about the game industry but in entertainment in general. I know you are just BSing about the shit you love, but I think a lot of us like the same shit so it's refreshing to hear honest thoughts on everyday shit from someone who has actually done something in the industry. I know you get a lot of flack for speaking your mind, but those jerk-offs can cram it. Every time you've "freak-out" (as they've called it) you are actually really calm and have a decent reason behind the rant. Who cares if you swear and shit. Anyways, hope to buy more games from Eat, Sleep, Play and watch more vid blogs in the future. I think you are a little too outspoken to quit making those anyways... lol

Originally I wrote a long gushy message, but I know your a busy man. Twisted Metal 1,2, Black & Head on are in my opinion the most entertaining games ever created, they truly stand the test of time. Every time a new TM comes out I get goose bumps... I stumbled upon your blog trying to figure out if there was ever going to be a new one released for PS3.
